Great bed and great service

Great bed the Abberley Ottoman is good for the money, we got a sale price which was fantastic for us. The service from better beds was pure class they helped with eveyrthing good brand to deal with in the end. Delivery was very fast and they put it in the bedroom for me all i had to do was assemble and take out of the packaging.

Is the storage section easy access on this lift ottoman bed?

It's really effortless to access the below storage section on this bed due to a number of reasons. First there's the gas piston hinges which are located at the sides of the inner part of the bed. This type of hinge brings the base up for the user when pulled up slightly taking over part way through the action. This type of hinge is found on most ottoman beds these days. The next reason is the fabric handle this is attached to the metal frame located at the top of the bed. There's also the weight of the metal base section this isn't heavy but light. Opening and closing this bed can by done by one person easily.   

Is the base of the storage section a fabric material or wood?

The base on the Abberley Ottoman Bed is fabric which is easy to clean and will remain dust free. You can take this out and clean with a cloth and water then add back keeping all your products dust-free. The fabric upholstery means you getting more space inside the ottoman bed for more products to be stored as this is lay on the floor. There's a Velcro attachment all around the bed to keep this in place. The fabric upholstery is ideal to keep all your products off the flooring.  It's also good for the long term with wood this base can damage but with the fabric clothing this isn't going to happen. 

Is there much padding on the headboard?

Yes underneath the fabric upholstery there's plenty of padding this is great for when your sitting up in bed. With a large amount of padding this beds going to last for the long term and stay reasonable to use during this time. The padding also adds an inviting look to the bed some where you want to spend your time. This also allows for the button effect design to look impressive and stand out making this bed a statement in the bedroom.
