Choose the Shakespeare Beds Stratford Mattress from Better Bed Company for a firm sleeping surface with a traditional open coil spring system. The supplier specifies a 12.5-gauge spring unit and a nine-inch overall depth. Its firm feel makes the Stratford a distinct option within the Shakespeare range for shoppers comparing the stated tensions of different models.

The mattress has a damask fabric cover with a tufted finish and a quilted border. This combination gives the sleeping surface and sides a coordinated appearance. Handles are fitted for repositioning, with vents included in the mattress border. The Stratford is double-sided, allowing you to use both sleeping surfaces in accordance with the manufacturer’s turning and rotation advice.

Check the available size against your bed base before ordering and take the mattress depth into account when choosing fitted sheets. This product is supplied as a mattress only. Explore the Shakespeare Beds collection at Better Bed Company to compare the Stratford with other open coil mattresses and review the construction and firmness details before making your choice.
